November’s Highlight
November was certainly a refreshing month, the Beam community had a party while launching BeamX. BeamX, which is an experimental network for Beam’s soon-to-be released Confidential DeFi ecosystem, which promises to bring privacy to the exciting DeFi ecosystem. November was certainly a busy month as there were several updates from the community. We had a collaboration with Chainlink, which will see Beam leverage of Chainlink’s price feed framework to launch decentralized price oracles. Beam also mined her 1 millionth block on its network. Beam was mentioned on several 3rd party media platforms. It truly was a busy month, and to ensure you stay in the loop, subscribe for regular updates.
Now, for the Beam Africa community, it was a fantastic month for us as well, we had our Tech Lead, Alex Romanov spoke with some of the household crypto names across Africa. Alex was first featured in CryptoTv+ AMA series, which was broadcasted live across all social media platforms. Then Alex also hosted Africa’s finest Yele Bademosi, who is the CEO of Bundle Africa, during the latest episode of the periodic Beam Talks.
Lastly, the Beam African community had a webinar featuring Angus Sullivan, Beam’s Community Lead, and Nathaniel Luz, who is Dash Nigerian Lead. The conversation was convened by Beam Africa’s Lead, Agbona Igwemoh. The conversation was centered around the Dash coin listed on Beam’s Atomic Swap, which makes it easy to confidentially swap between both coins.
Now you see, November was a great month! Not to mention some nice upward price action 😉, if you know what I mean. Our African ambassadors were not left out, as they made their own contribution, as they always have in content development, community management and ensuring the Beam Africa vehicle keeps working.
